Culham Lightning has contributed significantly to the field of lightning protection of aircraft, through our significant contribution to the development of international standards for the testing of avionics systems and aerostructures. We are experts in the testing of composite structures such as fuel tanks.

 

Our clients in the aerospace sector benefit directly from this experience by testing their products in a way that most closely meets the requirements of the relevant standard. However it is when we are carrying out "non-standard" tests that our knowledge can be most readily appreciated. We have the computer modelling and applied data capture skills that mean the test time is minimised in an environment of getting things right first time.

 

We can carry out testing in our test facility in Culham, near Oxford, England, or use our portable equipment to test on your site.
